CO Hwy 550 - Montrose to Durango
How is this route? According to the trip planner it looks like all mountain driving to me. Anybody familiar with this route? Would you recommend using it with a 34' travel trailer in tow?

We did it with a 21' hybrid behind a 1/2 ton Chevy Avalanche. No problem. Would not necessarily want to drive the MH and toad down it.
It was a beautiful drive. lots of winding, no guard rail, tight edges with STEEP drop offs.
