Colorado Springs to Gunnison - how are the passes

In Colorado Springs - headed for Oregon - trying to decide which route to take tomorrow with changing weather this weekend. How are the roads and passes going over to Gunnison? Trying to decide...

Right now the Colorado DOT site COTRIP shows that Monarch Pass is snowy, slushy and icy.

Weather through the weekend is supposed to stay wet down here and snowy in the mountains, so it may be better to head north on I-25 and then head west, further north.
