- The Attorney General of the State of Sinaloa confirmed today Monday that the two bodies in the burnt van are the two Australian kids.
We pray for them and the families.

Yes simple robbery, theft.

Obviously this particular incident doesn't stand out from the crowd all that much and to the extent that it does is merely because it involves a couple of foreigners. Meanwhile back home (in the USA) the gun issue continues to gain momentum and the media seem to have no difficulty in coming up with all sorts of discouraging comparisons

Define better. You mean a country where you risk your life by going to college or a movie theatre? In my experience people down here are far friendlier and willing to help out than either the USA or Canada. Anyone who has RVed down here will attest to that. Are there bad people? Sure, but there are plenty of those in the US & Canada as well. People in glass houses should not throw stones.- Looks like a very hot fire, ????

Was there something in the press that said there was no license plate? Are we sure they were driving at night or just assuming? What reason might the cartel have for doing something like this - doesn't seem like something they would do - why? Can we wait for the full police report? Or should each of us dream up our own story? Please post any news reports that present facts from the authorities.
