Thanks for providing all of the detail information as well as the actual pictures. It looks like pretty country. I do believe that I will have to pass on the bonus road. Would be a nice ride in the toad but not the RV. I hear what you are saying about the climb up to Crater Lake. If we go we will camp at a campground and take the toad to the lake. We know that the rim road does not open normally until after May. With the West reporting less snow this year we are in hope that the Rim Road might be open by May 7th. If we cannot see the lake we will probably go from Redwood NP up the Oregon Coast on 101.
