Unlike your insurance our insurance usually covers wherever you are.
I didn't know this, thanks. I was basing this on the questions on the forum about medical coverage when travelling to Alaska, but I am assuming now that this only applies to Medicaid or Medicare. Coverage only applies when travelling DIRECTLY to Alaska.
BTW, our coverage does cover us anywhere in the world, but only up to the amount that is covered in Canada. As a result we only need to have supplementary medical coverage, when travelling to the US.
