First, I will bet the TAXES would kill you !
I would not so it ! The modern diesel have 2 strikes against them. EXTREMELY COMPLICATED emission systems that no one in those areas would be capable of repairing (even if they COULD get the parts) and lower fuel economy.
LSD vs ULSD could also be an issue.
