After many months of searching, I finally purchased my diesel dually, 1997 F350 4-door. The truck already been imported, which save me some expense.
FYI, I was at the border during my search. I spoke to several brokers in TJ and Mexicali, as of today 2004 and newer diesel trucks can be imported. I found a perfect 1998 Dodge I wanted but it was a no go. A 2004 Dodge 3500 diesel can be iported for a $4650 or about 25% of the value of a nice clean truck.
Now I am searching for a toy hauler or a cabover camper. Anybody got one???
