Nope!! When we crossed the border two weeks ago they spent 45 minutes searching our MH and said nothing about our Directv box, which was located in the first compartment they checked inside.
Parked next to a guy in Dawson Creek that was watching Directv through his Wingard dish.
Now if he says it won't work in Alaska I will agree with him. If you want to watch Directv in Alaska you will need at least a 7 foot dish and a clear view of the horizon at 10 degrees elevation. We suspended our service while in Alaska. (And didn't miss it at all!)
