That can happen with maps, web sites as well. One trip I checked the NM state web sites for camping in Taos area and found a state park with camping on THEIR web site. Took motorhome up the hill on narrow 2 lane road and got to the gate - LOCKED. Campground was closed. NM never updated their site. Had to U turn motorhome and car on hill. Not pleasant. Always double check routes to places you have never been. hard way to learn.
