While taking an RV over the Golden Gate Bridge sounds great, the traffic on the other side is anything but that. And its going to be an expensive experience. You are charged by the axle and end up paying the same fees as a 16 wheeler. You don't see MANY of them crossing the bridge these days.
Make sure you transit after 9am and before 3 pm as the traffic is less.
