I am looking for the easiest route to hwy 1 from the Sacramento area. We've traveled to hwy 1 literally 100's of times since I was little. But now I'm driving AND pulling a small camping utility trail...

Or you can take 101 to River road in northern Santa Rosa. Then to 116 and hwy 1. That's how I would go.
