End of Anchorage RV 'lot' parking...already in a thread

joe B was kind enough to inform me that this was already a topic...under Alaska camping.

A proposal before an Anchorage Assembly committee would ban the popular tourist practice of overnight vehicle camping in commercial parking lots, such as Wal-Mart and Fred Meyer.

From the article it is RV park owners that have the ears of lawmakers. Although the owner quoted says she is not after the one nighters, it's the all-summer long parkers...the end result will be an end to it.

On edit..a bit of a breakdown of dollars spent by tourists.
