Eye Glasses Algodones and Other Mex Border Towns

We get our glasses at a place in Palomas south of Deming. Last time we paid $190US for no line bifocals with the sun adjusting lens. That includes doctors exam and frames - with scratch proof. Ready in about 2 hours. I forget the name but it is directly across from the Fierro dental clinic - about 2 1/2 block walk south of the border. We have gotten our glasses there several times over the years with no problem so far. One time they ran a special with the second pair at $100US.

AFAIK Algadones is the only town in the south west with that many stores. They have a lab close by. Other towns would require days to do many lenses. Maybe in the Texas border towns there is something similar.
