I don't see the point of checking the power with a meter. Obviously if the power is changing there is no guarantee that it's not too high or too low an hour later. Someone above just stated that the EMS keeps kicking off and on so in that case things must be changing.
I'm using my EMS from Progressive and if it keeps going off and on so be it. If it becomes a real hassle, then I fire up the Honda when and if I really need DC power.
