NOTE: The non-contact voltage tester will only tell you if there is AC voltage. It will not tell you if you neutral/common and ground is correct. Therefore the need for the receptacle polarity tester. And a voltmeter will also tell you exactly what voltage you have and not just that you have voltage. So I still see the need for a polarity check and a voltage check.
