fredricksburg va to luray va

Good sam trip planner sends me on rt3 to rt522 to 211 I'm towing a 36' F/W, no exhaust brake. This seems to be shortest route, but I'd rather go around if safer. Is 211 over the Mt narrow with switchbacks and tunnels? Please advise.

    I have taken that exact route a few times with my 5th wheel. Yes, 211 get a little twisty for a few miles up and over the mountain, but it is very manageable. You will be fine.

    You should be fine on 211. There are no tunnels, but it is a typical mountain road through the area. That is the route I take with my motorhome and toad.
