Fuel Price protests

I feel sorry for all my peeps who make it a yearly ritual to drive down to Mexico for the Christmas holidays. I was almost one of those, but I am glad my wife told me I was out of my mind!!! I can just imagine the blocked roads, closed gas stations, and no way to get gas to make it from one gas station to the next.

Wednesday January 4 in Mexico, Pemex is closing 1800 gas stations and not delivering any fuel at all since some of the delivery trucks have been high jacked and in some areas even shots have been fired, the unrest is really getting out of hand, try to stay put until the situation is alleviated, there is not much that we can do this is as of the news in Mexico city today in the morning.

They did not say what or where those gas stations are being closed.

I was wondering when those poor truckers would revolt. They do not get paid when they are delayed for any reason. They should just refuse to move until the store shelves are empty!
