Garmin 2457..

Question

I am on my way to La Manzanilla next week and am wondering..will my 2457 just update after I turn it on? Looking on the Garmin site and looking thru Google..I am no further ahead.

Going to be renting a car a couple times and have grown accustomed to having the GPS to get really lost with.

You have to download Garmin Express to your PC from the Garmin website.  Then follow the instructions to do an update.

Plug your 2457 into your computer and run Garmin Express which will check and update your Garmin as needed.

Gary, not sure about your Garmin, but our older unit has lifetime updates and I find that the updates don't happen that frequently, I check every few months with Express as mentioned before we head out on a trip. If you do this before you leave you should be good. Even if you don't, not much of significance will change anyways!
