Diesel for me is a business expense and a write off. I just 'snitch' what I need for the trucks from the 1500 gallon bulk tank. I may be paying off road price but it's never dyed red. Don't really care what the cost per gallon is, I roll the cost into the P&L statement.

Food prices for long distance transport is going to go through the roof. The poor will become destitute. Like paying eight dollars for a jar of Best Foods mayonnaise? Four dollars for a loaf of bread? Forty dollars per night at an RV park with a power pole? Then you are going to loooooove what happens after a boost in prices like what navegator is describing. Thanks navegator I am going to fill my tiny tank with gasoline today then fill the 45 Kg butane tank tomorrow. Cancel thoughts of buying ANYTHING.

I have never in my 55 years of Mexico travel and living seen prices go down for comistible or servicios gobermentales.

I pray this does not happen.

Well gasoline is more than 21 pesos per liter and the electicity has also gone up, Méxicos inflation rate is at 6.4% + or - anually, so expect prices to be higher on some intems a little lower on others.
