I drove from Phx, but love Gila Bend. I own some land around town there. Nice people. The froze was all gone I see.

We used to drive it 2 or 3 times a year to visit my mother in Tucson,
if we got a late start out of San Diego we'd rest up at the rest area east of GB until it was closed then we'd stop at the one on the other side of the hill

5:39 PM I made it back. This was my 50 th year and 200 plus times I drove on that road. It was more fun in 1962 with my brother in his Ford Fairlane.
