The views along the highway are as good as the skywalk so save your money for the icefield coach ride if you want a commercial activity while in the area. If you are walkers, either Parker's ridge or the Wilcox pass hikes are worthwhile.
Some of this depends on weather as the icefields seem to attract rain/snow during any month of the year and a coach ride on the glacier would be much less impressive in the cloud.
