Just a comment regarding service and parts for US/Canada vehicles in Mexico. A couple of fellow RVers in the RV park we were at south of Mazatlan had issues with their vehicles, one was a V10 Ford motor home with a bad sensor, it took the Ford dealer about a month (2 sensors times 2 week delivery from the US) to sort out the problem, fortunately the people were are the park for the winter season.
I was also asked to get a part for a fellow RVer for a GM diesel pick up in Tuscon when we were on our way into Mexico because of a parts availability problem (again in the Mazatlan area).
Not sure if this answers your question on warranty coverage, and things may have improved recently for parts and service, but it still probably isn't as good as NOB.
