GPS, radios now illegal in Jalisco unless orignal equipment

I'm not kidding, on the dash or front panel. Use of screens on the front panel of the vehicle that are not part of the original design of the unit, mobile devices , computers , PDAs , radios , tab...

"Cat Scan" - good one!

I guess I have a problem as I use my GPS as my speedometer. The dash on my Ford motorhome is configured so that the steering wheel impairs my view of the dash speedometer so I have gotten used to using the GPS where all I have to do is glance up beside the rear view mirror where it is mounted on the windshield. Much safer than leaning over the wheel to see the dash.
