O K here's my opinion. I have not stayed at any parks other than Villa Marina, but have been to Kikis and Club De Pesca. Also Playa Laura. These parks are in town or close so the party people tend to stay there. Lots of noise, etc. I have heard don't leave your shoes outside at night they will walk off by themselves.
Most of the spaces at Villa Marina are leased so the same people every winter. Most are older, some are nice, a few are grouchy, but we all get along. We are 12 miles south of town and can leave 'stuff' outside if we are gone for the day. Beach access, fishing, we like it, some may not.
I almost forgot, new people are welcome and you will be watched as you get into your space. Some might even offer to help. :D
Thanks for the heads up on the noise factor. I do prefer quiet. But Villa Marina has not answered any of my emails, whereas the others have...
My plan is to go there and reserve for a week, look around and decide where I might want to be for longer. Since it will be November it should be not so busy. But I am still hoping to hear from a few more folks who have actually been there.
I looked at the Ioverlander site and there were all of two places shown for the SF area, one was a beach camp. I found it was less useful overall than the GS guide. However it did give me another opinion on Kiki's.
