Highway 2 across Massachusetts
Traveling from Littleton, Massachusetts to Eastern NY. How is Hwy 2 across to Albany? We have a 38 ft. fifth wheel. Thanks,

- The extra fuel you use stopping & going and the hills on RT 2, the Pike is better, faster and almost cheaper paying the tolls.
- All depends...If you want lots to see and great country rds...Rt2 or Rt20 ..If you just want to make time...Mass Pike....
- I live in ma and would take the pike over rt 2 every time.
- I have now looked at I 90 toll charges and if calculating accurately on the MADOT site the tolls are not that expensive. I had "assumed" tolls across MA on I 90 would be rather steep. May need to rethink this travel plan. Thanks,
- Pretty but slow, one switchback in western MA. There are sections that have numerous stop lights. You might be better off dropping down to the Mass Pike (I90) and going that way.
