Highway 24 in B.C.

Traveling from Little Fort to 100 Mile House on highway 24 in British Columbia north of Cache Creek and Kamloops just wondering if it a good road for motor home with toad to travel. What is the road surface like? Is it a mountain road? Thanks for any input
  • Easy road to drive. As others mentioned there is a climb out of Little Fort but you will have no problems. If you are a fisherman, this highway is also known as the "Fishing Highway" and has some of the best lakes in BC for trout fishing.

    Edit: Fixed the image link.
  • It is a beautiful drive although the climb out of Little Fort is a long steep pull. It is certainly doable as long as you don't try to push.
  • Good two lane paved hiway. No problems. Big hill on Little Fort end.
