We drive that road every year in our signature rig. Getting ready to head up there next week. Like the above poster said, it is not for the faint of heart or anyone afraid of heights. Just go slow and watch the road, let someone else take pictures out the windshield and look at them later. The section between Ouray and Durango is breathtaking. Drive safe and have fun. Here is a sample.
