Holy cow, Indiana toll roads $$$$$

Solution: Don't use toll roads!

Cost us $20.00 toll around Houston,Tx. from Galveston. But course take in the price of fuel
and stress!!! Fiver and Dooley.!

Rates are by the axle, and most of the users with more than 2 are trucks.

I found an Indiana toll page that listed about $14 for 4 axles from Portage to Elkhart.

We paid nearly that much without the trailer last summer, than you get to deal with the fun interchange that never was in southern PA where you have to do two lefts on a small town fast food strip to get from one interstate to the next even though one crosses over the other. Between the toll booth and the two lefts, it took us nearly an hour... Yet I80 from Toledo to Sandusky costs abt $2 and the tool booths are always dead.

That's crazy, nothing like dissuading the rv'ers! I figured if these charges are correct, that adds up to more than ten cents per mile on the Indiana toll roads- criminal!
