How far South is 'south'?

Thanks for all the replies... Yep, we do know the concern over road conditions but being an old truck driver I might not worry as much as others. MY concern on the road conditions would be the salt/crud on the 5th. I'm not as worried about the cold northern states, it's actually better when it's cold as the highways dry off. But, at one point I will have to go through some melting/freezing area.
We had thought of yanking the trailer down somewhere now, storing for a few months and picking it up on the way by. But that would be another week off... I love my job, but hate work, you know what I mean? LOL
The next question on the list is how many Campgrounds are going to be open/available for that time of year...
yes, if it wasn't for the dog/cat running this family our plans would include flights.
