How Many Miles

According to Google Maps, it's 1891 miles.

I ran the mileage from Sweet Grass, MT up to Tok, AK which is the first fair size town after entering Alaska. 2006 miles.
Unless you are just going to the border and turn around.

according to DeLorme Street Atlas it is 1913 miles.

2003 to Tok, AK

So..don't be thinking 'oh, then I will do hundreds of miles a day for three days'..nuh huuu.

My comment was intended to suggest that the mileage shown is not interstate type mileage. A person can do the mad dash but requires at least two drivers and no fun at all.

Yes I am and in this day and age that is a pretty safe assumption. And if a person doesnt have one they should think carefully. It is a powerful tool if used to even 50% of it;s potential.

But I also find that some folks with smart phones don't realize they have that capability and they know nothing about that widget/app from google.
