Hwy 44 from Hartford to Plymouth?
Is Hwy 44 a good camper route to get from Hartford over to Plymouth? I84 is about to best us to death!!! Thanks!

- Try I-84 to I-691 to CT 66 to CT 9 in Middletown. Take 9 south to I-95 through Providence and take I-195 to I-495. You can stay on 495 to US44 or take the Carver exit and pick up US44 in Carver.
We take this route coming home to Cape Cod and it's much more enjoyable than I-84 through Hartford. - 84 is good east of Hartford but if you want 44 OK. Take I84 to 74 to 44. Then get on 101 to providence. Take 6 around providence and get back on 44.
