We recently came on hwy 54 from Guadalajara to Zacatacas at the end of August. Hwy is good condition,winding, slow, but quite scenic. Actually a pleasent drive if you are not in a hurry.We will be going back in October to Jocotepec but will take hwy. 45 from Zacatacas to Aguascalientes then on to Guadalajara.
