I-40 Road Condition
Has anyone driven I-40 eastbound from New Mexico to North Carolina recently? How are the road condition? Any areas of construction causing traffic headaches? Thanks for any information.

- For Memphis :
1. Construction at I-40/I-240 junction east edge of Memphis. Particularly avoid coming thru eastbound 4-6pm, and westbound 7-9am.
2. Paving I-40 nightly 8pm - 5am from the construction zone east to approximately MM 25 or so. PenMan wrote:

We came through on 40 this past April and did not experience any difficulties. We are off the road by 3:00.
