I-44 closed south of St Louis

For those of you that may be traveling through the St Louis area this weekend and headed south, I-44 is closed for a 26 mile stretch just south of St Louis due to flooding from all of the rain that we've had in the last week.

    Reported 12/31 that I-55 closed both directions at the St Louis/Jefferson county line mile marker 193.

    UPDATE - as of 1/1/2016 I-55 is open both north and south. Closure on I-44 still in place.

    They are also predicting that I55 will close tonight or early tomorrow morning in South St Louis County. Check KMOV website or the DOT.
