I 65 in Southern Indiana
Is I 65 still a mess from Seymour to Louisville? Should I take an alternate route when heading south soon?

That would probably be your best route. There is a little construction on I71 as well but they usually keep the traffic moving fairly well. The construction is from about the 40 mile marker south to around the 28 mile marker New Castle Pendleton exit. The up side of this is the road is MUCH smoother than it has been in years. A good app for you to add to your phone or tablet is "WAZE". Its a free app and gives real time traffic reports and lets you know if there is any accidents or even where the troopers are siting. All reported by other travelers with the same app. Happy travels and have a safe trip south. Tim
