This time of year, everybody is headed south for the winter. I-95 is crowded. I-65 is crowded. And I-75 goes thru Atlanta. And the road repair season is short. Pick your poison, but I will NEVER drive thru Atlanta again in snowbird season. I've actually considered buying a mannequin to ride shotgun so I can drive in the HOV lanes.
I'm planning a trip from Cincinnati, OH to Venice, FL to visit friends via I-65S to Pensacola, then I-10E to I-75S , but I'm going south in the spring. The traffic will be headed north. Everything in Florida has A/C, including my RV.
