Thoughts on using I-70 west thru Kansas city or taking I-435 around then back on 70. which is less stressful! lol Thanks

Right now and for the foreseeable future. The most direct route thru is I-70 to I-670 back to I-70. Travel it during non rush hour times.
Lewis and Clark Viaduct
Westbound I-70 will be closed past Broadway Blvd (in Missouri NW corner of the
downtown loop) to 3rd St in Kansas City, Kansas for bridge replacement. This closure
will be in effect through December 31, 2019.
