Thanks all! I did look at a couple of RV parks in Winnemucca. Didn't look at Elko but will. The only reason I like going through Vegas is there is a really nice RV resort, Oasis RV Resort. Probably the nicest pool set up I've seen for an RV Park. Plus it would be hot enough to spend time at the pool. It takes forever to get hot here in Colorado and it doesn't look like California is going to be hot, temps will be nice but ocean water is cold. So I wanted pool temps for the kids and that is a guarantee with Vegas. Some of the 80 route RV parks have pools but they aren't huge.
