Thanks so much kalynzoo! I definitely will check into Beaver. We have gone out the California before and seem to have a hard time finding good RV parks along I70. SLC would be one of our stops if we go back that way. I showed the husband the time travel is only a half an hour difference taking the I80 route and going back south out of Monterrey and back through Vegas.
Question: how is the terrain mountain wise. We've gone to California numerous times and even though it is beautiful, there is that mountainous, winding part of Utah that feels like it takes longer and longer every time we travel through it. Upshifting, down shifting and curve after curve. Is I80 more of a straight shot with less elevation gain up and down?
