I-90 vs. I-80/I-84 Columbus, OH to Portsmouth NH

Google maps shows similar mileage and driving time, bit I see a lot more road work icons on I-90 than on I-80/I-84.

I'm pulling a 35 ft. fiver with a Ram 3500 diesel.

Any suggestions much appreciated!
