I-95 SB from DC worst in United States

We hate it almost as much as going past Atlanta.

EVERYBODY thinks that the roads they are most familiar with are the worst......and they ARE.....because they ALL are in a mess. WAY OVER CAPACITY.

And local "quirks" makes things even worse, like Florida's tendency to close ALL lanes of an Interstate to "investigate" a crash when the victims are long gone and the vehicles are off on the shoulder.

Try ity saturday afternoon in July during vacation season it will still be a mess!

I find that stretch of road to be much less congested at 1 AM. I'll never intentionally drive between Baltimore and Richmond during the day again.

I've lived in the region for 14 years. When I moved here, I didn't think it could get worse. Silly me.

With the growth that is projected to occur over the next couple of decades, I hope we invent a new mode of transportation that doesn't require asphalt. It will truly be third world here if not.

To me, 95 isn't that bad once you're away from "The Beltway".
