We are leaving for Topsail on 9/11. Anyone have any insights on I65 around Louisville? I understand we can take the bypass around-just want to make sure we make the proper decision. Any other issues on I65 between Indianapolis and Montgomery?Thanks.

The I65 Bridge across the Ohio is under construction and is a total mess. Best bet is to take I264 West to I64 and cross into Indiana that way.

What time of day? Alter the am rush about 9:15 or before 3:45 pm stay on 65 , just read the signs take your time you will be fine

If your going to Topsail, I always go 65 south of course but then I get on 331 south out of Montgomery, it takes you straight down till it ends and then you turn right on to 98 and Topsail is down on your left about a mile or so, 331 is a good road with fuel stops and places to eat, I go that way every time. Have fun..

We drive straight through during non rush hour when we are going either direction. We have been that way several times including a couple weeks ago northbound. No delay or problems at all. The construction zone is not that long.
