LOL just don't leave the interstates. LOL I just read an article that Texas is tearing up their paved roads because they can no longer maintain them.

The roads are all bad due to the lack of gas taxes. Oh wait, there should be more taxes now at 4 bucks a gallon, shouldn't there????

Well it doesn't help when the money gets diverted to building turtle tunnels and bicycle trails instead of being used for roads and bridges.

I just saw an article about some Texas counties turning paved farm-to-market roads into gravel because it was cheaper to maintain them that way. Oil field traffic was blamed for the deterioration. Ranchers felt caught in the middle.

Doesn't anyone build an RV that can handle bad roads?

I seem to be driving more on non-interstate highways to avoid the bam, bam, bam from failed expansion joints, cupped panels, etc. The MH is going to shake itself to death soon enough without that abuse.

I've noticed perfectly good roads being replaced by bone jarring /whiplash inducing concrete nightmares. No problems with potholes but hope you like mini-speedbumps every 10 ft. Loads of fun while towing!
