If you do I-75 thru Atlanta just be patient and time it to miss any rush hour times. Its always busy no matter what time but it is do-able. Google maps shows a lot of construction work going on in the north bound lanes but I don't know the exact situation. You might take the 285 bypass as it isn't showing much construction on it.
