We just drove the San Blas section north last week and is a flat, easy to drive road up to Hwy 15. The San Blas end has some pot holes and rough sections but is not a problem if you take it easy. The biggest problem right now is construction on the highway on the north side of Villa Hidalgo. You have to take a detour to the right going North about halfway through town, cross an irrigation canal and take a rough gravel road around the construction section. We saw no detour signs or flagmen to help you. Buses take the route so its doable, but I would suggest asking someone in town how to get to the bridge across the canal and then onward. I was towing a 30 ft fifth wheel.
