Las Vegas, NV to Capitol Reef NP to Great Sand Dunes NP
Just looking for confirmation that I have a good route for us for this coming week. I have read a lot of previous posts (thanks 2gypsies!) and think this is it.
I-15 to Hwy 20 to US-89 to Hwy 62 to Hwy 24. While in the motor home, we are going to avoid Hwy 24 from Bryce to Capitol Reef but will drive it in the minivan for a day trip.
We have a week set up at Thousand Lakes in Torrey, UT.
Then we are thinking of heading to Great Sand Dunes Natl Park in CO.
For that leg, I have Hwy 24 to Hwy 95 to US 191 north to US 491 to US 160 to Hwy 150.
FYI - In the past month, we have visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and before that Mesa Verde and Hovenweep. We have already visited the other four National Parks Utah.
