I don't know about every place in Mexico, but we have a 5th wheel and the Mexicans all call it a "camper". There are not a lot of Mexican RVers -- so I find when I use an RV specific word - even if it is Spanish - they don't know what I am talking about.
We bring extras of the parts we need from the US because we cannot find them here in the Baja.
But in a pinch, we always take a sample of what it is we want to purchase so they can help us out.
