If you do a search up above this page for the word Algodones you will find lots of info previously posted on this forum.

Strongly suggest you try to talk with other people that have gone down there for the same type of dental work you need done. Ask if they have had any problems after there dental work. I have had one friend who had bridge work done in Algonones and 6 months later had to have the dental work all redone by his dentist in the U.S.:( Cheap prices should not be the only basis for making dental decisions!

Around here it's called Los Algodones.

Hello! My first post and am so glad I found this site. I am looking into having my veneers replaced in Algodones and have done some research on different dentists who have good reputations. I have emailed several and did receive a response today from Dr. Bojorquez. She quoted me a price and said she had moved to her own practice. I responded with a few questions and after doing so received another email from someone named Mitzi who claimed to work for this dentist and that she would be in charge of scheduling appointments. She quoted me a different price! Has anyone used this dentist recently since she moved on her own? Do you think Mitzi just picked up on the initial email since I sent it through Dental Solutions and responded as if she worked for this dentist? Thank you for any information or suggestions.

X1, had a friend have the dental issues that had to be completly redone when they got home:(:(:(. Read to many horror stories from other people on this forum:(
Are you willing to drive all the way back to Algodones from your your home town if you have any dental problems??????

I have never read a horror story on this forum about Algadones dental work. Can you give us some links?

Look at "Oldman" post at the bottom of this page.

I have spoken with many folks that have had or having dental work there and have yet to hear anything but good reviews

djgarcia: I am having trouble understanding your logic or lack of logic. Oldman provided a bunch of posts. Almost all were positive!!! Have you ever been to Los Algadones. I don't have any statistics but probably 1000 people a day cross into this little town. Some are just going for some fun, others for prescriptions. Many are there for dental work. If it was that bad why would people drive from LA or San Diego for dental work? I am sure some have had problems. That would also apply to those who go to US or Canadian dentists. You should do some research before posting.
