My experience in Algodones over the years is that if it is a non-narcotic, and they stock it, that you don't need a prescription.
My experience exactly. If a med is still under Patent protection you will not, generally, find it cheaper. The only meds that are cheaper are off patent generic stuff. - sehunterExplorerI'm not going to guarantee you won't but I've been crossing that border for at least 10 yrs. and have never been asked by the border patrol crossing back into the U.S. for a prescription, only what am I bringing back across. The prices for most of the popular meds are posted outside each pharmacy.
The only time I ever had a prescription is when the local dentist prescribed something. - crcrExplorerMy experience in Algodones over the years is that if it is a non-narcotic, and they stock it, that you don't need a prescription.
- rockhillmanorExplorer IIMy friend gets her insulin there no script. You just have to be prudent and NOT bring back too much.
They bring back my meds too that cost 78.00 per bottle here in the states.....there the cost is 2.00 a bottle, and they are 'not' generics. - MackteeExplorerMy wife was there yesterday and checked about getting her Victosa cheaper. No prescription required and cheaper than at home. Not covered by our medical in Canada. Macktee

Then see if they can recommend a physician and his price.
Then you can determine your cost savings.
Take the bottle to him or a note from your MD (best idea). - 2oldmanExplorer IIBe thankful he isn't taking Harvoni.
