Yes thank you OP, another reason to hate Canadian Tire... :M I really dislike that place and seem to get into an argument with semi trained "kids" that work in the auto service every time. I try to avoid that place as much as possible, but I know it's hard when they have a good sale on...us Canadians rarely get things for a good price :h
I once had a tire that had a screw in it, about half inch from the sidewall but still in the tread. Cdn tire wouldn't fix it, gave the same speech how it was illegal to fix it because it was near the sidewall, and said the tire needed to be replaced, oh and since it's a 4x4 truck, all 4 tires need to be replaced at the same time. I said, thanks but no thanks, took the tire down the road to Goodyear dealer and they fixed the tire for $10, no questions asked...
